The swedish bearded collie club had a family weekend in Tånga Hed with dog shows and competitions in agility, obedience and rally obedience. We took the dogs with us in the caravan.
On thursdag, jugde Michael Lewis from England, was judging the SBC specialty show with 85 entries. It was a great day for us. Elsa (Vallklanens Armadale Gal) won the post graduate class and later went on to become 4th best bitch with a CAC. Hurray! Her sister Imla (Vallklanens Melrode Lass) also got excellent with CQ and was 3rd bitch in the post graduate class.
We spent the days and evenings with some really nice bearded collie breeders and owners.
The weather was beautiful. We were able to eat breakfast outside and spend most of the day and evening outside.
On friday we were listening to a lecture by Michael Lewis about the bearded collie. That evening the club had a “bearded collie superstar dog show” where dogs who have been BOB or BOS were able to enter. Sally was supposed to enter in the veteran class, but unfortunately she has a little limp. Elsa was part of the show, but did not get placed. We are just happy to be part of a dog show with so many beautiful dogs.

We had to leave on friday night, but the competitions continued throughout the weekend. Bailey (Vallklanens Source of Light) got excellent and was 4th male in the open class at the saturday dog show. On sunday Bailey won the jumping class in the agility club competition. Congratulations Tina!!
There were more Vallklanen dogs at the club competitions, both in rally obedience and agility. Jenny came with her Engla (Vallklanens Lady Kinross) and Annelie came with Bea (Vallklanens Bright as Daylight). We are so happy to see you do fun things with your dogs. Hopefully next time we can stand on the ringside and cheer you on!!
