We have been to the European dog show in Lilleström, Norway. On our way there we delivered a puppy, who will becalled “Dolly”, to her new family.
When we arrived in Lilleström we saw that the trailer camp was on a muddy field. We were lucky to get a good spot in one of the corners where it was also dry.
On friday we had loads of time to groom our dogs.
On saturday we went to the club shows for bearded collie and for the hungarian breeds. We had to dress the dogs with raincoats even if we just had a few hundred meters to walk. I guess you can see why:
We met some old friends living in Norway. That was really nice!
On saturday our bearded collie Elsa got ‘excellent’ and our puli Ester ‘excellent with CQ’ and was 2nd best bitch. Kafka only got ‘very good’. We were waiting in the noisy and crowded environment for a long time and Kafka became very uncomfortable with all the chaos and “dropped his tail”. It is not like him, but we can understand. Well, tomorrow is a new day.
The hungarian judge liked Jesper’s white puli Turbo a lot. He not only became BOB but also BIS2.
On sunday the weather was better, but the line to get into the European dog show was longer 🙂
Luckily Kafkas confidence was back and we had a great day! He was BOB-junior with a CAC and a new title: European junior winner 2015. Congrats also to his sister Hjördis who was BOS-junior with a CAC.
So even if we were hoping that Elsa and Ester would do better we are extremely happy that Vallklanen got two new European juniorwinnors this weekend!
