On saturday SvkFUR had a specialty show in Tidaholm. Anna went with our three puli and it was a very successful day.
Edith won the intermediate class and got a CAC:
Ester was runner up in the champion class:
Kafka was BOS:
We were so proud when BOB went to Kafkas sister Hjördis (Vallklanens Devon Country Girl). She later went on to win BIS 2 as well. Congratulations Jenny!
Judge was John-John Johnsson (SE).
The same day a third sister had a successful day competing, but in agility. She got a qualifying leg and is now moving up to compete in a higher level. Congratulations!

SBCs yearbook arrived. We are happy to see the beardies from Vallklanen who did well in 2017.
In Sweden the whole month of may has been beaufitul. The sun has been shining and it has been war. We are enjoying it as much as we can. Anna and Marlon took a couple of the dogs to a beautiful nature preserve an hour from home:
Now time to cuddle with the puppies.
On 14-07-14 Kafka and his litter mates turned 2 years old. Happy birthday to Siri, Vera, Hjördis, Björn, Yatzy and Kafka.
Siri has been accepted to the school to become a therapy dog. She will start soon and we are so proud and happy!
Hjördis lives with a pack of pulis kennel Szarcsas and she has done really well at dog shows. She was European junior winner last year. On the picture below with her brother Kafka.
Sweet Vera. Her owner Cajsa likes to train with her and Vera has now started to compete in agility. We will keep our fingers crossed that she will get some nice results at coming competitions.
Yatzy lives in the south of Sweden and is a loved family dog. He now has a new family member, a mastiff bitch. They are best friends and sleep next to each other. During the day Yatzy loves to stay close to his owner.
Björn lives with a family not far from us so we meet him every now and then. He is a lovely boy. The picture below was taken last year when Björn met with Kafka on a play date.
Kafka is a cuddler. We can tell that his is now grown up a bit. He has done really well at dog shows, but we will also do some rally obedience with him. We have already started and it is a challenge, but when he is focused he is really good!
Doesn’t feel like a long time ago they looked like this:
We are looking forward to a new litter with puli puppies. Ester is now 7 weeks along and we are really excited!
On sunday we had a Vallklanen gathering in Ljungby. It was a lovely group of people and dogs that came and we got some time to BBQ, practice rally obedience and agility and just hang out and talk. 25 dogs were there with their owners. A big thank you to everyone who came!

We hope that we will all meet soon again.
It wasn’t long ago that spring arrived. The picture below was taken in the beginning of may.
A few weeks later the summer has arrived! The 22nd of may was a really sunny and hot day at Halmstad dog club. There was an agility and jump competition there and we went to cheer the Vallknanen-representatives on.
Vera (Vallklanens Devon Heartbreaker), Bailey (Vallklanens Source of Light), Bilbo (Vallklanens Benbecula Boy) and Bea (Vallklanens Bright as daylight) were all competing.
Bailey ❤ :
Bailey, Bilbo, Bea:
They are all lovely and it was so much fun to watch them compete with their owners. Well done all of you!
This weekend the summer arrived in the south of Sweden and we got to enjoy sunshine and hot weather at our gathering in Ljungby. It is a yearly gathering of hungarian breeds, an initiative from a few members in the specialty club SvkFUR, and it is always a lot of fun! This year we got to try both agility and rally obedience, and of course there was a BBQ.
More than 20 pulis, a couple of pumis and of course a few bearded collies were there. We were happy to see Vera and Bea, two bitches from Vallklanen.
Vera with her owner Cajsa won the agility competition.
Kafka was second in the rally obedience competition:
Even if our bearded collies did not join the competition they also got to practice some obedience.
The dogs got to run free at the nice club in Ljungby.

When we got home the dogs went for a swim in the lake.
