Last weekend we were out with the camper and the dogs. That saturday we went to Markaryd and a rally obedience competition where Märta did a really good round with 89 points (out of 100).
The weather was beautiful last week and we went to visit Lotte and Jan, Valle and Nisse in Klippan. On the sunday we did an excursion to the national park of Söderåsen. Anna also came with Kafka and Ester so we had 8 dogs with us and got some attention from other hikers.
Kopparhatten, a nice viewpoint in the park:
On the monday our tour continued to Höör where Märta and I competed in rally obedience again. This time she got 96 points and came in second place!
Afterwards we went for a nice walk in the forest among the spring flowers:
Today was the third time Märta got good points in a rally obedience competition, with 94 points we came in 4th place. This also means that Märta has gotten her first title (RLD N) and will move up from the beginners level to the next level. We are on a roll 🙂
Where did the past few months go? I think we need a bit of an update here!
We’ve said goodbye to both Piaf and Hygge. Piaf is now called Licorice (Vallklanens Sweet Licorice) and lives in Germany with a breeder who also has bearded collies. We are really happy for that! Hygge travelled to Devon, England, where he is also doing well!
In the beginning the house felt very empty without the puppies, but now Edith makes sure to keep us occupied.
We have been to a couple of shows. One in Hannover, Germany and one in Gothenburg, Sweden. Our dogs have done well. Märta was 4th best bitch at MyDog in Gothenburg. She was also crufts qualified because she won the junior class.
The dogs have taken turns to come with me to work. Even Edith has come to say hello to the elderly who live at the nursing home.
Ester and Kafka are living with Anna most of the time. We have finally finished building the new dog yard, where the dogs can hang out when Anna goes to work.
It is not very far to the beach from Anna’s house, so the dogs get to go on a lot of beach walks.
This weekend we went to visit Elsa.
Pernilla helped us to take a few photos. It was easier said than done to get everybody to focus…
…but finally we got a few nice shots.
The 28th of july Ester got puppies! The sire is Kilroy (Bubbleton Act of Sin) who lives outside of Copenhagen in Denmark. He is a really nice dog!
The puppies have become one week old and they all seems healthy and strong.
In the litter there are 5 bitches and one dog, all black, so as you can imagine it will be difficult for us to see who is who. The male is of course easy to spot. One of the bitches has a diamond shaped white spot on her forechest, so she is also easy to find. So with 4 bitches remaining we have marked 3 of them with a tiny bit of nailpolish in different colors (red, pink and gold).
Bitch 1 (Diamond):
Bitch 2 (Red):
Bitch 3 (Pink):
Bitch 4 (Gold):
On 14-07-14 Kafka and his litter mates turned 2 years old. Happy birthday to Siri, Vera, Hjördis, Björn, Yatzy and Kafka.
Siri has been accepted to the school to become a therapy dog. She will start soon and we are so proud and happy!
Hjördis lives with a pack of pulis kennel Szarcsas and she has done really well at dog shows. She was European junior winner last year. On the picture below with her brother Kafka.
Sweet Vera. Her owner Cajsa likes to train with her and Vera has now started to compete in agility. We will keep our fingers crossed that she will get some nice results at coming competitions.
Yatzy lives in the south of Sweden and is a loved family dog. He now has a new family member, a mastiff bitch. They are best friends and sleep next to each other. During the day Yatzy loves to stay close to his owner.
Björn lives with a family not far from us so we meet him every now and then. He is a lovely boy. The picture below was taken last year when Björn met with Kafka on a play date.
Kafka is a cuddler. We can tell that his is now grown up a bit. He has done really well at dog shows, but we will also do some rally obedience with him. We have already started and it is a challenge, but when he is focused he is really good!
Doesn’t feel like a long time ago they looked like this:
We are looking forward to a new litter with puli puppies. Ester is now 7 weeks along and we are really excited!
This weekend the summer arrived in the south of Sweden and we got to enjoy sunshine and hot weather at our gathering in Ljungby. It is a yearly gathering of hungarian breeds, an initiative from a few members in the specialty club SvkFUR, and it is always a lot of fun! This year we got to try both agility and rally obedience, and of course there was a BBQ.
More than 20 pulis, a couple of pumis and of course a few bearded collies were there. We were happy to see Vera and Bea, two bitches from Vallklanen.
Vera with her owner Cajsa won the agility competition.
Kafka was second in the rally obedience competition:
Even if our bearded collies did not join the competition they also got to practice some obedience.
The dogs got to run free at the nice club in Ljungby.
Family picture of Vera, Kafka and mother Ester:
When we got home the dogs went for a swim in the lake.
Our Ester (CH. Impeccable fourth miss congeniality) har already turned 5 years old. A big congratulations to her and her litter mates. It has turned out to be a very successful litter at kennel Impeccable. The four bitches have all made a Swedish KC mentality description (BPH), their brother Whiskey who lives in hungary, is herding and many of them are doing really well at dog shows, some with multiple champion titles. Their sire Rya (CH. Bubbleton Hot’n spicy) was once again the top dog in the swedish club for hungarian breeds (SvkFUR). The SvkFUR top show puli 2015 was Rya, followed by Ester and then Ester’s sister Rut. We also feel proud to say that Kafka and Hjördis made the list. Kafka as #7 and Hjördis #11.
Ester celebrated her birthday at the international FCI all-breed dog show in Malmö.
Kafka (EUJW-15 Vallklanens Devon Showstopper) did really well and had a lot of fun with Anna.

Ester was BOB and Kafka BOS.

Our bearded collies also did really well. Sofia Forss came to Malmö with Meija (Vallklanens förgätmigej) who on the day turned 9 months old and for the first time entered a dog show. Meija was 2nd in the junior class with an excellent. Congratulations and well done Sofia!
Elsa (Vallklanens Armadale Gal) was wild as usual, and did not want to stand still, but dispite that won her class and then was 3rd best bitch with a CACIB.
Sally (CH Breaker Choice for Victory) was best veteran and 2nd best bitch.
Thank you to judge Jesper Ravn from Danmark who judged both the bearded collies and the pulis.
Märta (Natterjack Starshine) came along as company and to socialize. She did really well and is a very cool girl. Here she is taking a nap with Sally with all the chaos of the dog show around her.
On saturday evening, after the show, Svk FUR had its annual meeting. Anna was secretary. It all went really well and the evening finished with a very nice dinner at Scandic Segevång.
